The Hunchback is one of my absolute worst nightmares when it comes to converting it into an LED Battlemech!!! After I drilled every hole and every channel in the Hunchback, came the part that really tests your patience—threading the cables through the channels, placing the LEDs in the right positions, and securing them. To make installing and positioning the LEDs easier, I install them while they’re lit. I love these little technical challenges. They take time—but in the end, the Battlemech should look as if it came with the lighting right from the factory. Five LEDs were installed in this LED Battlemech: - Cockpit - AK20 - 2x Medium Lasers - Small Pulse Laser 👉 Send it to someone who loves BattleTech. 👉 If you want to know whether I managed to fix the cockpit, stick around—and if not, that’s no pr-oblem either. 👉 If you’re into custom-built and illuminated Mechs, follow my channel. BATTLETECH STARTER BOX A parcel from the United States landed today, and it went straight onto the table: the brand-new BattleTech Starter Box, part of the biggest refresh of the game's core line in more than thirty years. Inside are the two ilClan-era 'Mechs that headline the set – the Hammerhead and the Kontio – along with everything a new commander needs to reach the map: quick-start rules, laminated record sheets, MechWarrior pilot cards, dice, a double-sided game map, and a punchboard of 'Mech and objective tokens. The small lore primer even carries a map of the Inner Sphere as it stands in the ilClan era, which is a welcome touch for anyone who cares about where the fighting actually happens. What caught my eye is that the record sheets are printed on both sides, so the reverse introduces heavier equipment once the basics are second nature. With the box open, the first model goes on the desk – the Kontio – in the colours of the Rasalhague Dominion. Which of the two would you build first?
