Closing in on me...Sargent, Texas 50-60mph gusts shaking the hell out of the tripod on the beach as a supercell strolls by cycling to high precipitation mode. Complete white out. Lightning struck extremely close to my tripod (I was in the truck) and looks to have caused some internal reflections or rolling shutter issues on one of the frames. Adds to the found footage look ha ha. I’m excited to introduce my son @saxonthomaschang new fine art release, Beach Sand. “I took this image at Ke iki beach on the North Shore of Oahu. The north shore is incredibly special to me because I grew up spending the winters there with my family. It’s somewhere I can continuously go back to and visit memories. This trip in particular was special to me because I was able to travel with my grandfather for the last time and learn about our family roots on the island. I will forever cherish the memories we made together on that trip. That morning the sunrise created stunning pastels and light pink hues that expanded over the sea.
