Fly fishing for Thredbo River’s golden Brown Trout #fishing #trout #flyfishingaustralia #australia #outdoors

Today I had the pleasure of taking Sean on a full day guide, it's the first time I have taken a Fly Fisherman on a guide, this bloke could cast so bloody good, he ended up with 20 plus Wild Trout, both dry fly and nymph accounted for plenty of trout, biggest fish went 35cm, thanks so much for coming out with me for a full day guide, in the high country brother! #freshwater #fishing #flyfishing #trout #australia

No cod, no problem. I'll always have a crack at a carp. You see the back out of the water. Huge carp you think. You cross the river in anticipation. You stalk that carp as it feeds in the shallows. You come within sight of it and put your rod down and reach for the phone. There is no better place to fly fish in the world and it's our back yard. #flyfishingaustralia

Skinny Water Cruiser… Great morning session watching these guys doing their thing in the shallows and catching a few along the way. #flyfishing #flyfish #bonefish #flyfishingjunkie #flyfishaustralia @raidzap @ahrexhooks @nervouswater_anz @thomasandthomasflyrods @flatscraft @easyshrimpeyes

Dave showing one of many rewards for getting the fly in the right place with the right drift. Simple statement but having gear that makes that easier is pure gold. The @guidelineflyfish NT11 905 and new Aura reel makes the casting and playing of these demanding fish effective and enjoyable. #flyfishing #flyfishingnz #bigbrowntrout #sightfishing
