I was taking a shower this morning, 2 kids in the bath, two playing on the bed and I just cried in gratitude thinking about being an old lady with my mom friends, chatting away together giving updates on all of our babies. To the women doing the good ole’ days with me, I’m so grateful to be raising and remembering each other’s babies together. It doesn’t get any sweeter.

The view has changed…. Took the backseat for the long trip because part of being a mom is saying “you never cared for pie anyway”. Being a boy mom is one of the best and funniest adventures the Lord has taken me on!

Maybe hearing this wouldn’t have changed my journey, but it might have made some of those hard days feel a little lighter. I used to think there was a “right” timeline for life.
Now I think there is just your life. Don’t let someone else’s timeline—or someone else’s idea of what you should be doing—decide what your life is supposed to look like. There are many ways to live a beautiful life.
Choose the one that feels true to you. 🤍 I became a first-time mom at 48.
