I’ve been thinking a lot recently about Belongingness—how easy it is for us to feel like we don’t belong, fit-in, or feel connected when we’re with others. (I did a long Instagram story on December 14 about an experience where I didn’t feel like I belonged!) Science shows we perform better in all ways when we feel connected, wherever we are. Apparently all the young and cool Tik Tokers are playing “double it or pass it on” 🤷 So when Belong asked me to hit the streets and share some mobile data with other Belong users.. I knew it was my time to at least ~ pretend ~ to be young and cool. We started with 100GB. Who you are becoming is the result of what you’ve chosen to become. Becoming is not accidental, therefore we must be extremely intentional and purposeful. So my encouragement is this 1️⃣ Write it Down…. Straight out of the Bible’s playbook in Habakkuk 2:2. Writing is the bridge between what’s in your head and what becomes action. If it stays in your mind, it’s just a dream. But when you put pen to paper, you give your vision a place to live and grow. 2️⃣ Define it….. Be clear about who you want to become. That clarity will either excite you or scare you. And both are good, because either way it demands lifestyle shifts that will push you closer to the person you’re meant to BEcome. Lastly, God has a plan for you according to Jeremiah 28:19 and that is to become like the one who you belong to. #PurposeOverPosition #SpeakLife #FromTheInsideOut #VadSpeaks #Become #Belong
