“To me , a mixer is an instrument. Routing the sounds to effects, playing with eq and filters, ride the faders… it’s the way I really feel I’m touching my music.
The MODEL 1 is so far the best way to enjoy this process.
Here I only have a 303 line and a basic beat made on Octatrack, but with few effects and filtering simplicity can become more than what it seems.
Benidub Echo and Eventide Space are my go to pedals for this setup.” - @ooramusic, music composer, synth enthusiast. Based in Berlin

After years seeking a certain kind of sound I finally found it.
I am so lucky I have the chance to work with the instruments I always wanted, this setup is my perfect playground.
Here Analog Rytm does all the drums and syncs, chord stabs made by Oxi Coral, bass by avalon and lead by OP1-Field.
On the FXs , the new AMAZING Echo Fix Ef-x3, the Benidub Echo, eventide Space, H3000 and the Meris/Chase Bliss CXM1978.
I am preparing a video about dub techno , with all my inspirations( Basic Channel anyone? ) , coming soon on my YouTube.

Another slow burner.
Talking about dub techno, three are my main influences: Basic Channel, Pole and @tilliander
In this clip I am working on textures mostly, inspired by Pole album “3” .
Few sounds from Rytm, Avalon and Poly Cinematic are enough to create a full soundscape.
The effects are the EX-x3, the Space echo, the CXM1978, the Space and Benidub Echo.
All these dub tracks will be released soon as EP or singles.

A quick uplifting jam.
Im trying to prepare a fully improvised live, how many of you walk on stage without a set completely programmed?
What are your strategies to keep things flowing?
Im loving the amount of great tips you guys are sharing, thanks!

#ttlreview 💥 this week: J Brekkie, Billy Woods, Oklou, Geordie Greep, Japan imports, Pixies, Bill Withers, dub sirens + more ⇢at the lab
Here is my daily session.
What I like about practicing like this is that I never know where I will end. For sure if you are looking for some perfectly crafted track this is not the ideal, but for me nothing beats the interesting way an artist adapts to improvisation .
If you are interested in this setup, I have a Youtube video for you! Link in bio!
