Alfred Delia — better known as “Big Al” — is the 12-year-old Little League slugger who went viral after his unforgettable ESPN intro during the Little League World Series regionals: “Hi, my name’s Alfred Delia. Back home they call me ‘Big Al’ and I hit dingers.” Sixteen words turned the kid from Middletown into an internet sensation, racking up millions of views across social media. And the legend is real — Big Al actually hits dingers. Days after going viral, he launched two more home runs at a travel ball tournament in Cooperstown with the Middletown Mutiny. His dad, Alfred Delia Jr., who coaches him, says the power is natural: “He don’t swing for them, but they come.” He’s been mashing for years, even if he can’t keep count of the total. It’s not just the home runs people love — it’s his personality. He dances in the dugout, celebrates with pure joy, and brings energy everywhere. Teammates call him Cookie, Bubba, Boomer, Pots and Pans, and “The Sauce,” but Big Al stuck. His dad is “Little Al,” his grandfather is also “Big Al,” making him Alfred Delia III — personality and power clearly run in the family. His moment even caught the attention of MLB stars like Chipper Jones, Todd Frazier, and Ryan Zimmerman. At tournaments, kids recognized him, umpires asked for pictures, and players wanted to trade pins. Still, he’s just a 12-year-old Yankees fan who loves watching Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton hit bombs — and being a kid. While his parents are proud, they’ve also had to be protective. Within a day of going viral, unofficial “Big Al Hits Dingers” shirts were already online. The internet moves fast. But through it all, Big Al has stayed relaxed, humble, and happy to play. At the end of the day, it’s simple: the kid said he hits dingers. The internet believed him. And he keeps backing it up. (via patsmuse/TT) #bigal #baseball #mlb #homerun #dingers

That time Big Al recognized Pop and Penn from the parade…We wish we were in Tampa today cheering on the tide, but we will be watching from home. Alabama may not have made it to the play-offs this year, but we are still their PIGGEST fans (always and forever)! ROLL TIDE!🐷🅰️🐘 #PopandPenn #RollTide #AlabamavsMichigan #PrissyandPop

A luta continua! Seguimos mobilizados para que todas as reivindicações sejam atendidas!
