Leadership means protecting people — not pricing them out of care.
If someone can’t pay the $20 co-pay, they could be denied treatment.
$20 might not sound like much to some people.
But for families living paycheck to paycheck, that’s groceries. That’s gas. That’s survival.

🎧 Listen as Hannah McCarty with Kentucky Youth Advocates shares more on House Bill 338 and Senate Bill 83, which makes common sense changes to the eviction process to expunge dismissed eviction cases and prohibit minors from being named on eviction filings.
Contact your state Senator and Representative and ask them to vote YES on House Bill 338 and Senate Bill 83 to promote family housing stability.

Among other requirements, the proposal would require an enrollment freeze for able-bodied childless adults until the program shrinks by 10%.
No, I don’t want to track any child.
I DO however want visibility and accountability on the money that it costs to educate.
Why?
So, we can better anticipate these situations and prevent budget shortfalls that lead to job losses, and program losses.
I understand it’s a hard issue, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t discuss it, and do it without being overly emotional. This is your money, and your legacy here in Katy that’s being played with. You have to have oversight and accountability to protect it. It’s not ridiculous.
It’s a practical fiduciary responsibility that needs to be accounted for here, and across Texas.
Proposed budgets from the House and Senate would create a huge Medicaid shortfall. #kyga26 #kentucky
State is sticking counties with the bill for inmates awaiting trial. This costs millions annually, diverting funds from essential services like roads and parks. The state needs to cover these costs from the start. #CountyFunding #InmateCosts #StateVsCounty #FiscalResponsibility #GovernmentReform #PublicServices #KentuckyPolitics #BudgetPriorities
Today I was at the State House working on this bill. Horry County already allows outside therapists. Now it’s time for the rest of South Carolina to follow our lead.
Medicaid needs to be funded. Teachers and law enforcement need to get raises. So much work is left to do from last year and we cannot let political fights in Raleigh get in the way of what needs to be done.
We all need lawmakers to support Kentucky child care in the next state budget. #kyga26 #kentucky

The Ky Legislature wants to empty your bank account and control your bedroom.
What won't they do to boost the Epstein class on the backs of working Kentuckians? There seems to be no bottom to their bullshit.
We have got to come together and get our Legislature back to working for ALL Kentuckians and not just for billionaire party bosses.
