Cutest Day Trip from Phoenix/Scottsdale⬇️⬇️ 📍Bisbee, AZ If you haven’t been to Bisbee yet, add it to your Arizona bucket list! About three hours from Phoenix/Scottsdale, this historic little mountain town was once a booming copper mining community and now has the coolest mix of colorful streets, vintage shops, local restaurants and Old West history. We started with a quick bite at Earl’s Cafe before heading underground for the Queen Mine Tour, then spent the afternoon walking around downtown and popping into all the vintage stores and local shops. We finished the day with pizza at Screaming Banshee and it was the perfect ending to such a fun day trip. Bisbee seriously feels unlike anywhere else in Arizona! New here? My Bisbee Biker Birthday was amazing. I knew attending @sumofallpartsbisbee would be cool with a top notch photo exhibit of motorbikes, and women who ride them. But meeting the remarkable ladies in the photos ended up being the best part of it all. Through photography, @ridetothewarehouse showcases fierce women who are passionate about motorcycles. The photos on display are very large, just like the personalities they portray. Their gatherings also raise money for charity and women’s health. They’re celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, and opening night coincided with my birthday. I’m so glad I decided to spend it with these lovely ladies! These amazing free-spirited women welcomed me into their world, even though the bikes I ride don’t have motors. 🚴🚲🏍️It was so nice to be surrounded by this camaraderie. Not to mention the magical community of Bisbee locals and the @object.hotel. Aside from the photo exhibition, there was a documentary film, a fashion show featuring @stellarmotobrand and live music by @the.rey.wolf. The big group ride got cancelled due to thunderstorms, but we still got out and shot some road footage. Riding around Bisbee filming from the back of a pickup was much bumpier than I anticipated. I was initially sad about my shaky footage, but then I decided I did capture the feeling of traveling on Arizona roads.

Locals have kept its roadside history alive and I got a special look with the people still there today. Many thanks to our amazing artists who contributed works-we sold nearly ALL of the artwork for the silent auction & had our panel of judges present awards in these categories: 1️⃣ Best Interpretation of the theme- Stella Rees "Garden Party", ceramic 2️⃣Peoples Choice- Kate Bishop's "Bisbee Blue Roadrunner", bird sculpture 3️⃣Judge's Choice- Gretchen Hill "The Sentinel", linocut 4️⃣Honorable Mention- Amie Esteves "Juniper Hairstreak with Chihuahua", watercolor 5️⃣Honorable Mention- Cathy Abramson, Century Plant 6️⃣Honorable Mention-Tamara Thomas "Datura Blue", acrylic on canvas Thanks so much for supporting the BAC, & stay tuned for our upcoming NYE Event & Artist Grant Submission Deadline of October 15th!
