How would you celebrate your arrival into space❓ 👨‍🚀👨‍🚀👨‍🚀 On 28 May 2014 @astro_alex_esa and NASA astronaut Reid Wiseman under the command of Russian cosmonaut @suraevmaxim rocketed into space in a Soyuz spacecraft. For Alexander and Reid it was the first time they saw Earth from space. Strapped atop 274 tonnes of rocket propellants delivering 26 million horsepower, it took only six hours to reach their destination, the @iss. Alexander worked as a geophysicist and volcanologist before he was chosen as one of our astronaut in 2009. During his Blue Dot mission an extensive scientific programme of experiments in physical science, biology, and human physiology as well as radiation research and technology demonstrations took place. All experiments made use of the out-of-this-world laboratory to improve life on Earth or prepare for further human exploration of our Solar System. What are your immediate friendship green flags? I'm introducing myself SO fast anytime I spot a campsite with a rainbow flag or another mom using gentle parenting techniques on the playground. I may once have yelled "I LOVE YOUR SHIRT!!!" out the truck window when I was shocked to spot someone walking with a Black Lives Matter shirt on at a Midwest campground. I'm open to conversation with literally anyone, but the RV community leans heavily a certain way, and it can get awkward quick when campsite neighbors learn that I'm a suuuuper liberal Christian, or when I say nope we are not interested in going to Florida, or when they hear me explain to my kids that no the color pink does not belong to girls, because colors don't have gender. Or when I tell them no thanks to attending church, I am only interested if it's openly affirming. Or when I directly ask a kid on the playground if his jokes about one of my kids being adopted is because of skin tone. Or when the adults clearly avoid my Black husband but act totally friendly with me. 🙄 All actual things that have happened, some on multiple occasions. So I'm out here looking for more fellow human rights supporting, immigrant welcoming, justice minded voting, love is a verb kinda people. You can say you’re a girls girl and still call out behavior that tears other women and people down. Taking digs at people you think you’re above isn’t empowerment. It’s glaring insecurity. And when someone jumps from one lane to another: affirmations to “financial coaching” without real substance, then starts positioning themselves as superior?
