The BMPCCOG or (black magic pocket cinema camera OG) was released in 2013 and honestly took favor from a ton of indie film makers due to its small size and film look. I personally use this on any project that wants that unique film look it offers. Is it a need? No, not at all. But due to the demand and low supply if you can find one and have the extra cash I say get it 100%!
