Moments from FNB Legal Day this past week✨
A day of insight, collaboration and practical learning as FirstPreneurs, SMMEs and legal experts came together to explore the legal landscape businesses must navigate today.
As Master of Ceremonies, it was a privilege to guide the conversations and help create a space where practical knowledge could be shared from discussions on digital contracts and intellectual property protection to fraud prevention, data protection and labour law essentials.
Hosting conversations like these is always rewarding, especially when they empower businesses with the clarity and confidence needed to grow.
Thank you to everyone who joined and contributed to the meaningful discussions.

Day 4 of Pro Bono Week 2026 - Market Ready Fair
We hosted a Market Ready Fair aimed at preparing the next generation of lawyers for professional practice.
For over three years, the firm has consistently organized legal clinics to give law students practical insights into the realities of legal practice. This year, we introduced a new initiative by hosting a Market Ready Fair.
During the sessions, students received practical guidance on CV drafting and effective interview techniques. The mock interview sessions also provided students with the opportunity to experience real interview scenarios and receive constructive feedback to help them improve and prepare for real life interviews.
This event marked the conclusion of our Pro Bono Week 2026.
We are grateful to all our partners and participants who supported the various initiatives throughout the week and helped us advance our mission of empowering the next generation of lawyers and continue to make a positive impact on our community.
Stay tuned for some more highlights from our 2026 Pro Bono Week!

WHEN LAWYERS SPEAK, THE BAR MOVES FORWARD
It was a pleasure to attend the monthly meeting of the Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja Branch (Unity Bar) and engage with colleagues whose commitment continues to strengthen our profession.
These interactions across branches remain deeply important to me. They provide an opportunity to listen, exchange ideas, and reflect together on the future of the Nigerian Bar Association and the profession we all serve.
One belief continues to guide my engagements everywhere I go: the Bar belongs to its members. The strength, legitimacy, and direction of our great Association must always flow from the voices and participation of lawyers across the country.
Meaningful leadership within the Bar must therefore be anchored on dialogue, consultation, and respect for the democratic traditions that define our profession. The future of the NBA must continue to reflect the aspirations and choices of its members, because power within the Bar ultimately comes from lawyers themselves.
I am grateful to the leadership and members of the Unity Bar for the warm reception and the thoughtful conversations we shared. Moments like these strengthen the bonds that unite us as colleagues and reinforce our shared commitment to a Bar that remains inclusive, responsive, and forward-looking.
The journey continues, and I remain inspired by the belief that when lawyers remain actively engaged in shaping the direction of the Bar, our Association will continue to grow stronger for the benefit of the profession and the society we serve.

Behind every big decision is a brilliant legal mind.
Honoring the lawyers across Nigeria who carry responsibility with precision and lead with quiet strength.
We were there to capture the legacy they’re building.
