Boot life = tight calf life 😩 Enter: the power duo you didn’t know your recovery needed.
After weeks in a walking boot, my calf and Achilles have been screaming for relief—and today’s treatment brought just that. 🙌
We used cupping to decompress the tissues and restore blood flow, especially around the Achilles where the pressure from the boot has been constant. Cupping helps lift the fascia away from the muscle, reducing tension, increasing circulation, and promoting healing in stubborn, overworked areas.
We also continued with Graston technique—a specialized tool-assisted therapy that breaks down scar tissue and helps release adhesions in the muscle. It’s not always comfy, but it is effective.

When you get impatient after 4 months in a boot for something that should have taken 6 weeks to heal (fractured 5th metatarsal) 🙄... you head to the driving range to take out some frustration. I know I’m not the only one 👀 😂.
I have a couple friends who recently had surgery and they are itching to get back at it… and I get it! I’ve been trying to encourage them to not overdo it…. They just come back at me with “really Brittany??”
Hahaha okay okay 🙈- but I really did rest a ton and followed protocol for 6 weeks- but then after 4 months, it just seemed ridiculous that my bone just wasn’t healing. The body does find ways to compensate… stay healthy my friends!

How it started is we arrived to a broken window by a man in a drug induced rage in the early morning hours earlier this summer.
Mansfield PD had him in custody before we arrived.
Central Security arrived the same day to ensure our continued safety.
Oberlin Properties ensured the glass was replaced.
Innovative Graphics made it look like it never happened.
