Adventurous, handsome, and clearly ready for a life that includes fresh air and good company. 🌊 ⁣ ⁣ Benny – happy-go-lucky and fully committed to the job of being someone’s best buddy. Sunshine in dog form. ☀️ ⁣ ⁣ Romeo – the name says it all. Lover boy vibes. Deep eye contact. Will absolutely steal your heart by day two. ❤️ No cats.⁣ ⁣ Bread – yes… his name is Bread. Soft, comforting, and honestly the best thing since sliced. 🍞 He can be reactive on leash, so he’ll do best with a foster who can help him keep working on his good-boy skills.⁣ ⁣ Bubba – needs quick help! Built like a tank, heart like a marshmallow. Professional couch companion and expert snuggler. 🛋️ Good with kids, dogs, & cats.⁣ ⁣ Big Jim – big presence, big heart, and zero concept of personal space when it comes to cuddles. 🐾 Needs to be in an only dog home.⁣ ⁣ These guys don’t need forever homes yet — they just need a safe place to land while they wait for their families. Morning update from the neighborhood: The tall, leggy forest-dogs are back! We were out for our sunrise patrol when I saw them again. They were just quietly walking, blending into the trees with those satellite-dish ears and those 'I-can-outrun-everyone' legs. Now that Wynona has headed off to her forever home, I have a sudden opening in my 'Best Frens' department, and I’m thinking these quiet giants might be the perfect candidates. I gave them my most professional 'I am very fast and very fun' look. I even considered testing out my 40-yard dash to see if they wanted to play a high-stakes game of tag, but Foster Mom wouldn't let me. She says they aren’t looking for new animals to join their group, but I’m not convinced. On future walks, I’ll be sure to keep a close watch on the treeline. Jaime is ready for the job ✅🐾 Jaime is a 2-year-old, 44-pound girl who strikes a wonderful balance between playful energy and a sweet, gentle nature 🥰 She is easy to take in and out of her kennel and settles nicely into whatever adventure the day holds. She quickly becomes comfortable with car rides. At first she may need a small boost to get in, but she now hops in and out without trouble 🚗 In the car, Jaime is a great passenger—she usually relaxes quietly or enjoys watching the world go by out the window. Jaime walks beautifully on leash and makes a fantastic walking companion. When passing other dogs, she simply pauses to watch them without barking or reacting. She enjoys a good game of fetch and happily joins in when it’s time to play, but she also knows when it’s time to relax 🐕‍🦺 Jaime knows “sit” and is very affectionate, often sharing her love with plenty of sweet kisses. She can be a little timid at times and may startle easily, so she does best in a home without small children where the environment can stay calm and predictable. With patience and reassurance, her confidence continues to grow. As always, we strongly recommend that resident dogs meet any new potential canine family members.
