Big Mama is a seven-track explosion that marks Steve Ellison’s long-awaited debut on his very own legendary @brainfeederrecords imprint. 🏆🏆🏆
After spending a long stretch in isolation directing his latest feature film Ash, FlyLo decided to vent all that pent-up creative energy into what he calls a “maximalist, hyperfast, electronic burst.” ⚡️⚡️⚡️
️ It feels like a computer is finally losing its mind in the best way possible. This is a 13-minute continuous composition featuring absolutely zero loops, meaning every single bar you hear is a unique, one-of-a-kind moment of rhythmic genius. The project even comes wrapped in some wild, mischievous 90s-inspired cartoon art by Christopher Ian Macfarlane that perfectly captures the “shot out of a cannon” vibe of tracks like “Antelope Onigiri” and “Horse Nuke.” 🐎☢️🐎☢️
You do not want to miss the chance to hear this machine go awry! Set those alarms, tell a friend, and join us this Thursday at 5:00 PM CST only on HYFIN.org. Let’s go!
Shout out to our wonderful friends at @co_sign for the assist!
