⚫️- This weekend I headed up to Brecon to try out The hills , I have been up here before and absolutely loved it , but when I saw these new burgers they had brought out I knew I had to go back up to see what these creations were like 😂 , overall they were all really good , but I definitely think people will have mixed opinions on them 😁 but one thing you cannot doubt is they are doing it different and it is clearly working for them when you hear people rave about the place 😁
⚫️- The best one for me was the Pie burger though , if I had to recommend one for you then definitely get this , but expect to eat it with a knife and fork ! , the pie was beautiful and was filled with some fantastic meat and it paired perfectly with the burgers , so definitely get that 🍔🥧
⚫️- Overall though you should head up and try one of these new specials because you will struggle to find burgers like it else where !

Elidir Falls - Waterfall Country
Our favourite waterfall trail - you get to see quite a few falls on this one walk, so it really is a treat! Easy to find on the sat nav typing in Pontneddfechan and there is a lot of free parking on the main road. There are toilets before you start the walk and there is a nice pub before the entrance of the trail.
It’s a lovely walk for kids because its relatively flat with some quirky little alternative routes to keep them interested. It can kill a few hours if you want to stop and enjoy the different spots and go for a swim, but it’s not too long that it’s going to kill everyone 😅 and you can turn around at any time. It’s great to do all year round as the trees give lots of shade from the sun and the rain, you might just want to wrap up warm in the Winter. In the Summer it’s a great place to cool off (take towels and swimwear because it’s hard to resist) and in the Spring and Autumn it’s beautiful, especially after heavy rainfall when the falls are super impressive. It can get muddy at all times of the year, so take old stuff or stuff you don’t mind getting dirty if it’s been raining. It’s also dog friendly 🥹 Don’t jump off the falls - there was a horrific accident there not so long ago after someone tried to jump when the water levels were too low. Stay safe and enjoy ❤️

About 8 miles into a 13 mile hike in the Welsh hills, we suddenly found our path being blocked by the fastest sheep I’ve ever seen!! Don’t get in the way of a sheep when it’s dinnertime!!
