I’m @greenfoundry. The bronze is being melted for my fish spouts! #bronzesculpture #fishart #animalsculpture

Here’s one reason why bronze sculptures are pricey. You need a crew of skilled people- who are@willing to work with molten metal- to make your pieces. This is just one step of a process. Next up, take a hammer to the molds to break out the bronzes. #bronzesculpture #bronzefoundry #greenfoundry #fishart #waterspouts

Bronze Patination is a process of heating the bronze and adding layer upon layer of oxidants and wax . I can’t wait to see this piece finished and to see the greens blues and browns patina coming through 🙌🙌🙌🙌#fineart #sculpture #bronze #bronzefoundry #familybusiness❤️

Redoing the patina on some bronze. I had tried using a blue patina but it was hard to get it even and I ended up not liking it. The nice thing is you can always sand blast it off and start over. #bronzecastingprocess #foundry #bronzesculpture #bronzesculptureprocess

Bronze sculpture is usually cast in sections, but you'd never know it. Every join is carefully blended by hand, every surface reworked, until the piece is seamless.

From raw casting to final patina. A sculpture takes shape through many stages — welding, refining, and careful finishing — before the final character begins to appear. #bronzesculpture #art #bronzecasting #sculptor #bronze
