Honestly, this is one of the best beers I’ve had.
8.5/10 might even be harsh — it was unreal. Crisp, smooth, and way too easy to drink. 🇺🇸🏉

Is Nitro Dark Lager the next big thing?
No, obviously not. But it is a big thing in Newcastle thanks to @donzokobeer, who have brewed an alternative to Guinness that is still clearly a Donzoko beer.
Donnie's is a delicious, chocolatey lager given the comforting body and texture of a nitro stout by the use of nitrogen. In winter it sometimes outsells Northern Helles at the taproom, which as founder Reece puts it "is mental".

I was expecting palm trees and a cure for malaria, but I was pleasantly surprised. Fruity but with nuts...coconuts. What am I reviewing next in Tassie?
