Shipping fragile items is getting a massive sustainable upgrade with this adaptive mesh packaging. Engineered by GreenDot Packaging, this innovative box design relies on a geometric structural pattern cut directly into the cardboard. Instead of stuffing a shipping container with wasteful foam peanuts or plastic bubble wrap, the inner layer of this box features a precisely cut triangular mesh. When an item is placed on the center of this mesh and pressure is applied, the cardboard stretches and expands in three dimensions. It molds itself around the exact shape of the product, effectively suspending it in the center of the box and absorbing shocks or impacts during transit. This technology not only dramatically reduces packaging waste and overhead costs for e-commerce companies, but it also creates a premium, mess-free unboxing experience for the consumer. It proves that smart engineering and simple physics can completely replace single-use plastics in the logistics industry. It is a brilliant step toward a zero-waste future for global shipping. — — — — — Are you tired of plastic bubble wrap? 💬 Follow for more Technology updates Video: @绿点包装

🪱 How We Feed Our Worms – Part 3 Now it’s time to feed our flow-through bin! We place the food into a trench down the center of the bin and cover it back up. This helps keep odors down while the worms make their way over to their next meal. Our daughter wasn’t quite as enthusiastic about watching this part 😂💚 Next up: We’ll show you why we cover the bin with bubble wrap and landscape fabric! Want to see the full process from start to finish? The complete video is available on our YouTube channel! #vermicomposting #wormfarming #wormtips #soilhealth #SustainableGardening
Pt 2: $2,500 bag shipped without a scrap of bubble wrap.. is everything OK💀? @therealreal I’ve had $20 lip balms shipped to me with more padding & care than this 😭 PSA to my Americans - @sweatandtonic is an upscale gym in 📍Toronto, not a term for getting gin & tonics after the gym 😭😭😭 but I love that assumption so much

Turning Bubble Wrap to Luxury GEMS Planter !✨ #diy #planter Welcome back to Form & Formula! In this project, we are taking everyday shipping materials and turning them into a high-end, textured decor piece. Watch how we use a standard cardboard box and bubble wrap to create a custom mold for a beautiful, industrial-glam concrete planter. By lining the mold with bubble wrap, the concrete cures with an incredible honeycomb-like texture. After a sleek coat of matte black spray paint, we take it to the next level by hand-placing rhinestones into the recessed divots for a stunning contrast between raw concrete and glittering gems. This upcycled DIY is the perfect weekend project to elevate your succulents or indoor plants! In this video, we cover: How to build a cheap, custom concrete mold using a cardboard box and bubble wrap Mixing and pouring concrete for a clean, air-bubble-free finish Demolding and revealing the unique bubble wrap texture Painting and detailing the planter with rhinestones for a luxury look If you loved this upcycled concrete build, make sure to hit that Subscribe button for more DIY construction, concrete casting, and creative upcycling projects! #FormAndFormula #ConcreteDIY #DIYPlanter ConcreteCasting BubbleWrapHack Upcycling HomeDecorDIY SucculentPlanter CraftHacks ConcreteArt GlamDIY AI Disclaimer: This video is AI-generated and contains synthetic visuals created for educational and entertainment purposes.

Bubble Wrap was never supposed to protect anything. In 1957, two engineers named Alfred Fielding and Marc Chavannes ran a pair of plastic shower curtains through a heat sealer, trapping air between them in neat rows of bubbles. Their idea was textured wallpaper for stylish homes. Almost no one wanted to hang bubbles on their walls. So they pivoted. Their next plan was to sell the material as greenhouse insulation. It turned out to be a poor insulator, and that flopped too. The pair reportedly brainstormed more than 400 possible uses. The answer arrived in 1959, when IBM announced a fragile new computer, the 1401. Sealed Air pitched the bubbly plastic as packaging to protect the machine in transit, and IBM bought in. The company Fielding and Chavannes founded in 1960 is now a Fortune 500 business with around 5.4 billion dollars in annual revenue. A failed wallpaper became one of the most satisfying products on earth. Follow @founderswealthcircle for more videos like this
