Have you ever wondered how is to actually sleep in the jungle? 🦧🔥🌿 Honestly, better than expected! The camp creates super cool vibes, we can bath in the river mear by, have tea with crakers, and play some games before passing out. Tbh, a million thanks for the mosquito net, cause it really made me feel way more comfortable (we dont want bugs around your body at night 🤡). The mattress is 1cm, but your so tired everything works 🥹 Get ready for humidity, everything is a bit moist and your never fully dry, but its worth it! PS: it usually rains every night after 6pm! 🥏 From Waste to Play: Creating Frisbee Together!🌿 Project Wings Sumatra bersama kelompok wanita di Bukit Lawang berkolaborasi membuat frisbee sebagai alternatif pemanfaatan material pengganti ecobrick. Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari upaya untuk menciptakan solusi kreatif dalam pengelolaan sampah sekaligus membuka peluang bagi masyarakat untuk menghasilkan produk yang bermanfaat dan bernilai. ✨ Didukung oleh Ticket to the Moon, kolaborasi ini menjadi langkah kecil untuk mengubah material yang tidak terpakai menjadi sesuatu yang dapat digunakan, dimainkan, dan dinikmati bersama. Listening to the incredible calls of the white-handed gibbons in Gunung Leuser National Park, Bukit Lawang, Sumatra 🐒🌳 These incredible primates are known for their loud, melodic duets that can echo through the rainforest, often marking their territory. With their long arms and powerful hands, gibbons are expert swingers, moving effortlessly from tree to tree, sometimes covering 30 feet in a single leap! Bukit Lawang lies of the edge of the Gunung Leuser National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to a diverse variety of wildlife. As Rayin (the tour guide) and I explored the jungle, I could have also hear the calls of the Sumatran hornbill which we were lucky enough to spot. The Park is also home to the Malayan Sunbear and the Sumatran Tiger, we didn’t spot either but we did also see Orangutans, macaques and a variety of other wildlife. Every step here was just a reminder of the incredible biodiversity our world holds. 🌿🦋 #BukitLawang #GunungLeuser #GibbonCalls #WildlifeAdventure #JungleLife #Sumatra
