📍Hawk’s Nest Lookout , Port Jervis,NY
Located in one of the coolest and beautiful scenic byways ‘Upper Delaware Scenic Byway’, hawk’s nest is one of the best place to see the fall colors in New York. There is a lookout from where you can see the breathtaking autumn colors over the Delaware River. There is no designated parking area though you can park your cars at the lookouts on the side of the road. Be careful as it’s a two way lane. Our suggestion would be to visit early morning as it can get crowded later.
It gets its name from the bird of prey nesting in this area. How cool !
Hawks Nest was also featured in the marvel movie Dr Strange 😍
