Let's talk camera tips!
Building brand recognition is one of the key elements within any UCG! One way that you can ensure you make the most of your content is to ensure that all branding is legible to your viewers.
Use this helpful tip to flip your camera meaning that any branding you are showcasing displays the correct way rather than being mirrored in your content.

First:
We always want to have a subject in our shots…
This more easily grabs attention
Because it helps establish a stronger relationship with someone watching
(Show two examples)
Second, we want to keep our subjects centre framed as much as possible
Especially on our phone there isn’t much room on the edges
So keep your subject in the safe zone (Where the caption and emojis on the right don’t cross), and centre frame them for more attention
Third:
We want to shoot our reels from multiple perspectives
As you go through your videos, think about how you can capture things differently…
Can you move your phone close to a reflection to get a cool shot of someone walking by
Can you showcase a look up shot for ambience of the city you’re in
Or will you flip your phone upside down, to get a low to the ground perspective…
Changing perspectives will keep your videos more interesting
And allow you to be more creative with what you post
[On Camera Tips] Many people have asked for advice when it comes to being on camera, especially with so many meetings/interviews taking place on zoom. So here are three tips for you!
1) Always keep your camera eye level or higher! If you’re on your laptop, prop it up on something!
2) Bright solid colors look best! I don’t always stick to this rule, but if you want to put your best foot forward these are the colors that really pop on camera!
3) Never stand with a window behind you! Always make sure that natural light is hitting your face! 🌞🌞🌞
