Surprise date night turned out to be… 🥁 Adventure Date Night at @ycampthunderbird ! Gage and I were married here 10 years ago this month ((watch to the end for the flashback!!)) 🤯 This was so fun! We tree climbed, hiked around, and canoed. Then we sat down at our own private picnic table for mocktails/sweet tea, bison burgers, local brats, homemade chips and potato salad, and a warm brownie sundae. Oh and don’t forget the s’mores. Mostly, this was a great time to be active, play, and reminisce on the day that started our “forever.” How our family began, where we’re at now, and what the next decade looks like for the Thompson Crew. If you’re looking for an out-of-the-box date night, check out the Adventure Date Nights at Camp Thunderbird! And thanks @iamgagethompson for planning the best anniversary surprise. I love you 😘 “And so the adventure (still) begins…” #anniversary #datenight #dateyourspouse #date #marriage #matrimonymotherhoodandme #adventure #local #ymca #campthunderbird #adventureculture #camping #campfire #gooutside #miracleinthemess #husbandandwife #happyanniversary #10yearanniversary

The weather’s heating up, summer’s calling, and Lemon Swirl is coming with us everywhere 🍋☀️. A splash in your morning water for an easy wellness ritual. Mixed into your favorite poolside mocktail or cocktail. Poured into your water bottle for extra hydration and fuel while you’re on the go. However you swirl it, summer just tastes brighter this way ✨! #thewholehope #morningroutine #lemonwater #holisticwellness #campthunderbird

Donor-funded scholarships made a powerful impact this summer. Thanks to our many donors, nearly $740,000 in scholarships helped kids experience the magic of Camp Harrison and Camp Thunderbird this summer — adventures they wouldn’t have had otherwise. From first-time campers to returning favorites, your support opened the door to friendships, confidence-building, and memories that last a lifetime. Thank you for believing in the power of camp — and in the potential of every child. #YMCACharlotte #YCLT #CampHarrison #CampThunderbird
