Sometimes you just have to laugh at yourself 🐧🤣
Most DIY’s go great, but others not so much… I’ll let you take a guess from the video our thoughts on carpet fitting 😆
Will we do this ourselves again next time? Probably not. But did we have fun trying and learning? Absolutely yes 🙌🏼 like I always say, if you don’t try, you’ll never know! ❤️
In all seriousness - the jumping and penguin walking was to flatten out the carpet, and it actually did work really well! Not to mention the laugh we had doing it too…🙊
Tag a friend who will crack up as much as we did at the carpet penguins 🐧⚒😂

Here are the things I learnt when fitting carpet for the first time
Make sure your floorboards are fixed down with nails or screws
Always buy the correct tools I bought a carpet stretcher and a carpet bolster
Don’t skip the underlay I use 10 mm
Don’t rush it’s not a race
If you follow these simple rules you’re on your way to success

DIY carpet fitting for electric heated tile flooring. Carpet from Hornbach and carriage from USE4FREE app.
Get a carriage before as the carpet is 4 meters long and you can get big fine for having it pop out of the car.
