La @cbone_official Monsta 70/30 a été conçue pour affronter les pires conditions de combat possibles, et c’est exactement ce que j’ai pu tester. Nous sommes montés jusqu’à 22,5 kg de frein mesurés, et la canne entrait tout juste dans sa zone de confort. C’est une excellente lanceuse, à la fois confortable et capable de mettre une pression folle sur les poissons sans jamais la retransmettre au pêcheur. Une vraie machine à gros poissons. Elle offre également un style de combat très reposant, absorbant littéralement toutes les erreurs du pêcheur. The rod absorbs and manages pressure in a way I’ve never felt before. It gives you the sense that it’s doing part of the work for you, which changes the entire dynamic of the fight. The casting performance of the MONSTA is surprisingly smooth for such a powerful rod. I’d say it performs like a standard PE10 setup in terms of casting distance and feeling. In the critical stages of the fight, when the fish is close and vertical under the boat, the MONSTA demonstrates its real advantage. MONSTA80/24でのファイト ドラグは初期で15kg、途中4分の1程締め、最後はハンドで止め船縁まで立て切ってロッドの曲がり具合をテスト出来ました。 参考までに、リリース時目測でおおよそ100kg程の魚でしたが、 1番負荷が強い時や船縁でもロッドは半分も曲がっていない程の余裕がありました。 横浜の釣りフェスで曲げてもらえた方々から、長いのに全く辛さがないのが驚き、と言っていただけましたが、 まさに楽に立てて、楽に保持して、楽に浮かせれる、そんなファイトでした。 なるべく早くYouTubeでフルファイトを上げます‼︎ (風邪で声が何度も裏返るのはご容赦を笑) Drag was set at 15kg initially, then tightened by about a quarter during the fight, and in the final stage I stopped the fish by hand and stood the rod up at the gunwale to fully test the bend. The fish was estimated at around 100kg at release, and even at the point of maximum load at the boat, the rod wasn’t even bent halfway — it still had plenty in reserve. Many people who bent this rod at the Yokohama Fishing Festival commented, “It’s long, but there’s absolutely no strain at all.” After this fight, I can say that’s exactly true.
