Based upon the look of the two girls at the end...I can see what they call it Shock Wave. They just don’t make ‘em like they used to. 🎢✨ Join us for a ride on the legendary Shock Wave—a 1978 classic that still packs a punch with those back-to-back vertical loops. Who else remembers their first time on this green machine? Schwarzkopf Engineering: This is a classic Anton Schwarzkopf masterpiece. He used perfectly circular loops, which is why the G-forces are so intense. G-Force King: It pulls a massive 5.9 Gs through those loops—more than some space shuttle launches! I-30 Distraction: It's so iconic and close to the highway that it supposedly caused fender-benders when it first opened. Rare Freedom: Unlike most modern looping coasters, this uses lap bars only, giving you incredible "ejector" airtime. World Record Holder: For a brief window in '78, it was the tallest continuous-circuit coaster in the world. #ShockWave #SixFlagsOverTexas #Schwarzkopf #LiftHillLovers #CoasterHistory
