‘In Dialogue with Color: Mid-20th Century to Now’ opens November 30 at Opera Gallery Miami.
Organized chromatically in green, blue, red, black and white, pink and orange, the exhibition highlights how each color can carry emotional and symbolic resonance.

While you recover from shoveling snow (we got almost 3' here) here's my explanation of "couching" with Mexican macrame cording. The quilt is my FIDDLER ON THE ROOF fantasy with touches of Chagall. I ice dyed the background first and then everything else was done on my Gammill long arm. #gammilllongarm

Opernbesuch in Zürich und vorher natürlich in die @kronenhalle – alt, aber teuer. Seit 100 Jahren großbürgerliche Gediegenheit, an den Wänden Bilder von Chagall, Matisse und Picasso. Und das Essen: naja, gediegen und vor allem schweineteuer. Für eine ganz normale Kalbsbratwurst hab ich 38 Euro und für das berühmte Kalbs-Geschnetzelte fast 70 Euro bezahlt.
Ich will ja nicht bösartig klingen, aber beim Würstlstand am Bellevue krieg ich eine bessere, das Geschnetzelte war fad und hätte etwas Würze vertragen. Ja, die Rösti waren in Ordnung, aber für diese zwei Gerichte 100 Euro zu verlangen, ist schon dreist, da helfen auch schönen Bilder nix…
Als Alternative stell ich euch im nächsten Post ein neues, wirklich hervorragendes Fine-Dining-Lokal und eine preiswerte, aber gute Markthalle vor. Bis bald!
