repost from @jb64r06a1 Cheap Trick - Clock Strikes Ten The intro is a catchy, familiar melody of school bells, then it develops rapidly into a cool rock sound. After this, their live at Budokan was released in the US and they became a huge hit. They seem to be a band loved in Japan, similar to Queen, and I love both their sound and their character. "Konya wa Kaesanai (Clock Strikes Ten)" is a single from their second album, "In Color," and was released only in Japan. The Japanese title, "Konya wa Kaesanai" (Clock Strikes Ten), is also excellent. There are many excellent old releases to enjoy.

In my hotel room in the Bahamas with Phil X learning the Cheap Trick version of California Man with Robin Zander….If you ever wanna play a Cheap Trick song I suggest you get Robin Zander to sing it. But don’t hit the clam on the last chord like I did ( I did it to mess with the guys and bring some jazz odyssey). #robinzander #cheaptrick #philx #steviesalas #inabasalas

#whataride #immenserespect #immensegratitude to these #bonafiderockstars for having me and for sharing their giant stage with me 😍😍😍🇵🇭 thank you @journeyofficial @defleppard @cheaptrick @stevemillerband ❤️❤️❤️

My dear friends in Saskatoon, so sorry I couldn’t turn up the other night. Hopefully I can come back another day. I’m healthy now and moving on to Ottawa, thank you to @cheaptrick for carrying the show ❤️

Truthfully, I wasn’t very impressed by #CheapTrick last night. Not terrible… but definitely not great either. Felt a little like they were just going through the motions. What band have you seen lately that was just okay—not bad, but not exactly blowing the doors off either? • • • #Chattanooga #tennessee #TheLoperShow

Thanks to @catnamedmo for capturing this video from yesterday's show. @robintaylorzanderofficial possesses an angelic voice and incredible songwriting ability. The son of rock and roll royalty and a touring member of the legendary @cheaptrick he is as congenial as he is talented. I know how proud his dad is of him. Sharing a stage as father and son, much like @cheaptrickrick does with his offspring, has to feel incredible. Go see RTZ when he plays around town. He's at @house_of_beer in Dunedin this Saturday. This young man is the truth! This is his brand-new song, "All She Wrote," and it is smooth like butter.

But don't give yourself away... @cheaptrick
