One week out from our @XFL Championship Game next Saturday, May 13th 🏈 🏟️ Motivated by my teams @xfldefenders & @xflrenegades 🔥 💪🏾 Saturday back/chest training, keeping volume high. Close grip cable row. 4 sets. 20 reps. * on 20th rep, deep stretch at the bottom and hold/squeeze for 5 sec. It’s a bitch 💀 but very effective Give it a shot, have a productive weekend and do some fun shit. Don’t be boring like me 🤪

I know I need to warm up and prepare tissues for training. I need to do a better job of this, so I came up with a simple band series that literally takes just a few minutes and has helped with basic mobility prior to shoulder or chest training. The simplest and most mundane things can sometimes make a big difference, so here it is - I hope it helps if you don’t stretch enough (like me)! We’ll get better - preventable injuries aren’t acceptable. #shoulderworkout #chestday #warmup #mobilitytraining #trainsmart #fitnessmodel #fitlife #bodygoals #miami

Most men over 40 don’t need more chest exercises. They need better mechanics and less joint abuse 3 simple fixes that make chest training work again: 1️⃣ Stop over-arching to move weight If your low back is doing the work, your chest isn’t. Stay strong but controlled on the bench 2️⃣ Control the bottom position Slow the descent and own the stretch instead of bouncing off the chest 3️⃣ Press through the chest, not the shoulders Think elbows driving in and together, not flaring out and up Chest training after 40 should build muscle...not wreck shoulders
The dumbbell pullover was a staple exercise in Golden Era bodybuilders’ routine. The exercise was primarily done as a ribcage expansion exercise. Breathing in while extending the arms overhead would cause the ribcage to expand. The exercise also targets the lats, chest, serratus, intercostals and longhead of triceps. I always finish my chest training with this exercise.
