If you’re struggling on a pump right now… read this. I just finished 5 pods on Omnipod 5 + Libre 3 Plus with the 100 target. Here’s what most people don’t realize: When you change targets or algorithms, your settings often need to change too. Starting at 100 without adjusting basal or bolus can make that first adaptation phase rough. What I’d recommend: • Reduce basal 10–20% • Reduce bolus ~10% OR • Start at a higher target for 1–2 pods before dropping to 100 And this part matters — If your pump “isn’t working,” it may not be you. These systems are powerful, but they’re nuanced. They require analysis. Pattern recognition. Understanding how the algorithm behaves. That’s what we do.
