Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser, has been named one of the 100 most influential people in artificial intelligence in a new Time magazine list. Sheikh Tahnoun, who serves as chairman of Abu Dhabi’s leading artificial intelligence and cloud computing group, G42, was joined on the global ranking by high-profile technology leaders such as ChatGPT creator Sam Altman and Meta chief executive Mark Zuckerberg. Faisal Al Bannai, secretary-general of the Advanced Technology Research Council, was also among the top 100.

This commissioned illustration for @acs_aircharter Cloud magazine is by London born, Irish bred artist and illustrator @cutitoutstudio, who creates mixed media collages that bring stories to life in print. Using found and self-generated material, Martin was inspired by Regina King’s fascinating article that delved into ‘The Smell of Success’. Regina explored how global brands are tapping into the olfactory senses, using scents to send a signal to your brain to elicit a positive response. This feature on scent’s role in neuromarketing was just one of the many fascinating ‘Views from above’ that featured in the latest issue of Cloud magazine, lead by editor @jamesdayhack. Did you know that 70 percent of your day-to-day emotions are actually controlled by smell?
