🎓🏑 Choosing the Right University to Commit To 🇺🇸✨
We caught up with Millie Gallagher, a recent graduate from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and former Newberry College field hockey scholar, to talk about one of the biggest decisions a student-athlete makes - choosing where to commit.
Millie shared how she reached out to players already on the team, spoke directly with coaches, and leaned on the advice and experience of the FirstPoint USA staff to find the perfect fit. 💬🏑

College Tip 1011: Once you get into college and commit to a school, consider signing up for an early orientation session… #college #orientation #newstudent #helpmeharlan #classof2024
Not everyone should apply for this.
This program is ONLY for athletes who are actually ready to execute:
1. High school–college athletes where NIL is legal
2. You can commit to the full 4-week program and complete assignments
3. You can attend 4 live Zoom coaching sessions (1 hour each Sunday)
4. You’re already active on social media (posting at least a few times a month)
5. You’re willing to post consistently during the program
6. You’re ready to reach out and actually talk to brands
7. You’re ready to invest in yourself and take this seriously
If you’re looking to just “learn” or watch from the sidelines… this isn’t for you.
We keep cohorts at 100 seats so every athlete actually gets results.
If that’s you, comment “NIL” to be sent the link to apply.
Applications close soon.
D3 basketball commit, Andrew Piccinich, started the process sending out hundreds of emails to college coaches but wasn’t really sure where to go from there. That’s where NCSA came in.
From the college search map to recruiting classes, Andrew was able to really understand the process, narrow things down and focus on finding the right school for him. Watch and learn more about his journey to finding the best fit at the next level. #recruiting #basketball
