TBT! Quick tip for anyone making 3D logos for your comic or other creative passion. ✍️
In this video I talk a bit about how I created the logo for my comic and the ‘rookie’ error I made of rendering this at HD and not thinking ahead of larger print sizes 😅
So I originally created the Riff Reality logo as a 3D rendered logo, typically I would create this the usual way as a vector etc to scale at any size but because it was 3D rendered at HD size this was a problem! I had to make it bigger for my roller banner to take to comic events and it meant going back in and scaling all the textures and rerender.. 🫠
So if ever you’re making a textured 3D logo make it massive to start with! I learnt the hard way! 🙃
