You know that one thing that changes everything?
Adobe Illustrator did just that for me. Before it, my ideas were stuck on paper—sketches on napkins or in notebooks.
Once I started using Illustrator, I could turn those sketches into polished lettering art.
The moment I tried the Pen Tool, I was hooked. It gave me precision and control like nothing else (after a few breakdowns 🤣).
Learning it let me build a portfolio, launch my career, and create a business I love.
Perfect curves, freedom to design, and a bit of obsession—that’s the real magic. Sometimes the right tool makes all the difference.
What’s your “before and after” moment in your creative journey?

This new Photoshop tool makes 3D product animation ridiculously easy.
No 3D software. No complex rigging. Just Photoshop + AI video + a quick After Effects polish.
Here’s the exact workflow 👇
1️⃣ Create the rotation in Photoshop
Open your product image in Photoshop and use the Object Rotation tool.
This lets you rotate a flat product image in 3D space so you can generate different viewing angles of the same product.
Rotate the product until you get a clean starting angle.
Export this frame.
Then rotate it again to create a second angle of the product and export that too.
You now have your First Frame and Last Frame.
2️⃣ Generate the motion with AI
Take those two images and drop them into an Image-to-Video generator.
Use First Frame / Last Frame generation so the AI animates the motion between the two angles.
Prompt example:
“Smooth cinematic 3D product rotation, studio lighting, clean commercial product animation.”
Generate the clip and export the result.
3️⃣ Create multiple angles
Repeat the process with different rotations from Photoshop.
Each pair of frames becomes a new animated shot.
This gives you multiple dynamic product angles without ever touching a 3D program.
4️⃣ Combine everything in After Effects
Bring all the clips into After Effects.
Now add:
• Speed ramping
• Motion easing in the value graph editor
This creates that fast, high-energy commercial style product animation.
5️⃣ Final result
You get a polished multi-angle 3D product animation built from a single image.
Photoshop handles the angles.
AI handles the motion.
After Effects handles the polish.
That combo is the cheat code.
📌 Save this post so you have the workflow the next time you need to animate a product shot.

It’s official 📣
I’m thrilled to share I’ve been accepted as a Mentor into the @adobe Creative Apprenticeship Program!
It’s incredible to have found myself at this point in the creative journey, full of wisdom (and gray hair.) Jokes aside I really love sharing my unique experience in the commercial art world, starting off as an editorial illustrator, finding footing in the music industry with work for @anderson._paak @freenationals @turnstileluvconnection @nylonmag and finally arriving to owning my own studio(s) (@desertbeachstudios @high_comfort )💼
I’ve always taken on mentees and apprentices in my path as a way to give back and learn from the younger generation as well. So many great people have helped me along the way and it’s paramount to have guidance as a young designer, so I couldn’t be more energized to return that knowledge. Thanks to the great people at Adobe, especially @chiuk.a for connecting the dots!
