Ahead of the meeting Reiche emphasized, we need to break free from the bureaucracy that is hindering growth in Europe. Further key issues are: * Surveillance of e-commerce products  * Removal of internal market barriers * Unlocking investments in green technologies ————————- 🇩🇪 Bundesministerin für Wirtschaft und Energie Katherina Reiche war gestern in Brüssel, um am 🇪🇺-Wettbewerbsfähigkeitsrat teilzunehmen. Im Vorfeld des Treffens betonte Reiche: Wir brauchen einen Befreiungsschlag in Bezug auf die Bürokratie, die uns in Europa am Wachstumm hemmt. Weitere Themen waren: * Überwachung von Produkten des elektronischen Handels * Beseitigung von Binnenmarkthemmnissen * Mobilisierung von Investitionen in grüne Technologien #germanyintheeu

Together with her EU-colleagues Reiche discussed various topics such as the Competitiveness Fund, which is a key component of the multiannual financial framework.
