Soft skills” might be the worst rebrand of all time. Because there’s nothing soft about: 🧠 Connecting with people ❤️ Leading with heart 🗣️ Having real conversations that actually matter Nate called them what they really are: 👉 Capacity skills And that flips everything. Because suddenly… These aren’t “nice to have” skills. They’re the ones that: • build relationships • shape your kids • define the kind of man you become You can have all the knowledge in the world… But if you can’t connect? It doesn’t go very far. As dads, this one hits. Because our kids won’t remember how smart we were. They’ll remember how we showed up. #WhyDad #WhyDadPodcast #Fatherhood #DadLife #IntentionalParenting #ParentingWisdom #ModernFatherhood #DadGrowth #EmotionalIntelligence #LeadershipSkills #BeBetterDad #RaisingKids #ConnectionMatters #MensWork #CapacitySkills

Your kids know you as a father. Someone who: Provides. Supports. Solves problems. But there is another version of you they haven't fully seen yet. The builder. The person who turns ideas into reality. The person who takes risks. The person who creates something from nothing. Most children grow up watching their parents survive. Very few grow up watching their parents build something meaningful. Imagine the impact of that. Imagine your child seeing you working on an idea after dinner. Seeing you learning. Seeing you create something from your knowledge and experience. That example becomes their definition of possibility. You don’t need to gamble your family's security. You just need to start building slowly and consistently. 100 focused minutes daily. Because the most powerful inheritance you can leave your children is not money. It’s an example of courage

It sounds so kind, doesn’t it? «Just let them be little.» It’s the ultimate comfort food for parents who are too exhausted to lead. But empathy without strategy is just a slow-motion crash. I stopped waiting for my son to «grow out of it» and started engineering who he is growing into. A child doesn’t just «become» an adult; they are a collection of reinforced biological drivers. If you ignore the Go-Getter’s need for impact or the Professor’s need for data now, you aren’t being «patient» - you’re leaving their executive function to chance. 80% of parents follow the crowd because it’s safe. But «normal» in 2026 is burnout, anxiety, and a lack of purpose. I use Nature’s Blueprint™ to bypass «normal» and go straight to elite internal safety. When you decode their wiring, you aren’t stealing their childhood. You are giving them the tools to own their adulthood. You move from a parent who «hopes» to a leader who knows. «Letting kids be kids» is a luxury for those who don’t care where they end up. For the rest of us, there is a Blueprint. Stay solid. 👇 Are you raising a child for today, or an adult for tomorrow? Comment CHILD to get the link to the Nature’s Blueprint™

Daughter asked for a job. Wrong question! Ask what skills you can master that will serve you no matter where you go. #CareerAdvice #ParentingTips #SkillsToLearn #FutureSkills #SuccessMindset #LifelongLearning
Most parents are confused because they're asking the wrong question. They're asking "what college should my kid go to?" when they should be asking "how do I help my kid learn to create value?" They're asking "what should they major in?" when they should be asking "what problems can they learn to solve?" They're asking "how do we afford tuition?" when they should be asking "how do we invest in real capability?" The confusion comes from trying to make the old system work. But the old system is broken. Once you understand that everyone needs to be an entrepreneur now, everything becomes clear. Not everyone will start a company. But everyone needs to think like someone who creates value. That's what we teach at Not Normal. And once parents understand this framework, the confusion disappears.
The world is changing faster than ever. AI is already reshaping how work gets done, and it’s only accelerating. So I’ve been thinking a lot about what my kids actually need to learn to thrive in the future. Two skills stand out to me. Critical thinking. Entrepreneurship. Most tasks in the near future will be automated. But your perspective, your creativity, and your ability to build something from an idea will always have value. The ability to see opportunity and act on it will matter more than memorizing information. Schooling is going to evolve. The way we prepare kids has to evolve with it. AI isn’t something to fear. In my opinion it’s something to understand and use. That’s how I plan to guide my kids. See the opportunity. Think independently. Build something meaningful. Follow for more content like this
