In the 4th episode of the ‘Graphic Designers You Should Know About in 50 Seconds’ series, we review the works of one of the most influential graphic designers of all time: Alexander Rodchenko. Rodchenko was a self-taught painter who gave up painting to serve his art directly to society and therefore started designing. Although at the end of his career, due to the Stalin government’s censorship of his photographs, he returned to painting. Our goal with this series is to introduce you to some of the most prominent figures in the world of graphic design in just a few seconds. Is there a graphic designer you’d like to see featured in this series? #alexanderrodchenko #constructivism #graphicdesign #graphicdesigner

📣 Construction Video 📣 ✨ A glimpse behind the process! This paper maquette reveals the layered build of my new artwork — coming soon to my website shop. ✍️ Inspired by the Bauhaus and Brutalist movements, my work explores geometric forms, dancing shadows, and naturally formed highlights. As daylight moves across each piece, it creates shifting compositions and playful expressions. 🎥 More to come — stay tuned! #artinprogress #bauhausinspired #brutalism #paperart #artiststudio #seanjthornhill #artcollector #paperartistcollective #collage #collageart #handmadeuk #geometric #wallsculpture #midcenturyinspired #reliefart #brutal #structure #minamalist #minimalism #collageartist #architecture #modernist #adhdartist #constructivism #reductive #interiordesign #artobject #midcenturymodern #bauhaus

𝗟𝘂𝗶𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼 (1915–2014) was an Argentine-born artist and a seminal figure in Latin American kinetic and optical art. Educated in Buenos Aires, he transitioned from figurative and geometric abstraction toward pioneering experiments with light and color after settling in Paris in 1957. By the 1960s, Tomasello had developed his signature Atmosphères chromoplastiques: kinetic relief works composed of angled wooden cubes or pegs painted in color, whose interaction with light creates dynamic optical illusions. His art—exhibited in major institutions such as Musée National d’Art Moderne (Paris), MoMA (New York), and Reina Sofía (Madrid)—continues to influence contemporary explorations of perception and geometry.

Architecture as Script // Rem Koolhaas 🟠 Soviet constructivism showed that architecture could reinvent daily life. 🟠 From Malevich to Leonidov, it wasn’t about form, it was about roles and relations. 🟠 To design a room is to write a scene. Architecture is scriptwriting. Moscow in ’67: a revelation that architecture wasn’t just buildings. To place a kitchen here, a staircase there, is to author human interactions.
Inspired by the Constructivist legacy of El Lissitzky’s Postman, 1923, the Artize Xquisite draws from the bold interplay of straight lines and sweeping curves. Just as Lissitzky’s ‘Prouns’ blurred the boundaries between painting and architecture, Xquisite redefines luxury in bathroom design with its modern geometric form and artistic elegance. Parallel curves meet sharp angles, creating a masterpiece that transcends functionality and turns your space into an architectural statement. Experience the exquisite blend of art and design with Artize. #BornFromArt #Artize #XquisiteByArtize #Constructivism #GeometricDesign #BathroomInnovation #GraphicDesign #ArchitecturalInspiration #ModernElegance #FunctionalArt #BauhausInfluence #BoldInteriors
In 2019 I collaborated with the project "Terragni and Golosov: Novocomum in Como and Club Zuev in Moscow. Avant-gardes in comparison", proposing a visual dialogue between Palazzo Novocomum by Giuseppe Terragni (1927-1929) in Como, Italy, and Zuev Workers' Club by Ilya Golosov (1926-1928) in Moscow, Russia. The exhibitions in Como and Moscow were curated by Alessandro De Magistris and Anna Vyazemtseva, conceived and organized by @maarccomo Photos © Roberto Conte . . . #architecture #architettura #architektur #architectural #архитектура #arquitectura #novocomum #terragni #giuseppeterragni #razionalismo #rationalism #architetturaitaliana #clubzuev #ilyagolosov #architecturephotography #constructivism
After years as @il_cek, I’m moving forward under my own name, Giorgio Cecatto. A new logo, a new site, a new handle, the same obsession with geometry and composition. The work that @tlle__tn has done is incredible! she’s so talented, and I can’t thank her enough for bringing this vision to life. #GiorgioCecatto #GeometricArt #Constructivism #MinimalArt #ContemporaryArt #DesignAndArt #TorontoArtist #GeometryInArt
