Crazy how things turned out… 🫶🏼 Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d go from playing it safe with the societal standards, to being a content creator surrounded by girlies who love and support what I share... Brands sliding into my dms asking to work together... Being invited to speak at a workshop and share my expertise (ahhh)... Online besties reaching out wanting to work with me 1:1... For the longest time, I thought having a stable job at a big company was the goal, but the little girl inside me has a bigger vision. Content creation has brought me to amazing opportunities I have never dreamed of. I think a lot of creators quietly carry this pressure. Because this isn’t really a 9 to 5 that you clock out of. It’s more of an everyday kind of job that no one really talks about… creating, posting, engaging, thinking about the next thing. And honestly, most of the work doesn’t even happen on camera. Projects, emails, deadlines, planning, conversations, all the things happening behind the scenes. This week reminded me that real life still needs room too. I was still doing all the behind the scenes stuff… I just wasn’t posting or spending much time on my phone. I used to immediately go into “okay now I need to make up for lost time” mode. But I think I’m getting to a point where I’m realizing I can build something beautiful and still make room for real life moments too 🤍 Because the truth is, the way I create is the same way I approach everything else in my life now. I’m not trying to force, chase, or work against myself anymore. I’m trying to build something in a way that feels healthy, sustainable, and true to who I am.
