Because the internet keeps repeating advice like: • “Just publish more posts.” • “Traffic takes a while, just wait.” • “Share your links everywhere and eventually some will work.” So when that doesn’t work, you assume the problem is you. But it’s this 2015 version of blogging advice that’s still floating around in 2026. And it doesn’t work anymore. So let me straighten it out for you. Blog traffic comes from: • writing content people are actively searching for • building topic depth instead of random posts • pairing your blog with search platforms like Pinterest • using social media with a specific goal (grow your email list, build connections, etc.) Blogging still works. But “write it and they will come” definitely isn’t a strategy anymore. Hi, I’m Ashley 👋 I help creative women grow online businesses using blogging + Pinterest so their content actually gets found. If your blog feels invisible right now… you’re probably just following outdated advice.
Stop creating content that expires. When you’re marketing social. First you have to chase the trends, the algorithms. The hashtags are no hashtags. All that comes first, and then your content expires in 24 or 48 hours. When you shift to search first marketing, you shift your focus to what people are consistently searching for. You create content around proven keywords, or you define the keywords about the content that you wanna write. And when you merge what you wanna write about with what people are actively searching for, you have content that lasts for And that’s kind of the mindset shift. You’re shifting from content that’s gonna get a spike in traffic to content that’s consistently gonna perform year over year. SEO isn’t a quick win. Pinterest isn’t a quick win, but the long-term compounding effects are so worth it. It’s a long-term asset that will grow over time. #pinterestmarketing #blogging #bloggers
Nothing humbles you quite like pouring your whole creative soul into a reel just for Instagram to be like: ✨43 views✨ At some point I just had to ask myself why I kept making content that disappeared the moment I stopped pushing it. Because when you write an SEO-optimized blog post, it can show up in search for months, sometimes years. People find it on purpose. One post can keep bringing in traffic long after you’ve moved on to other things. No trends, no timing hacks, no “use this audio before it dies.” Just content that actually grows with time. Hi, I’m Ashley 👋 I help creative women grow online businesses through blogging + Pinterest so their content gets found in search and keeps working even when they log off. If you’re exhausted from putting in hours for 19 views… there’s genuinely a better way. Follow for marketing that respects your time and actually builds something. 🦊💻💖
Everyone keeps saying “blogging is dead.” But the data tells a very different story. When we analyzed hundreds of websites, one pattern stood out immediately: 📈 The sites with active blogs consistently ranked higher in search results. Why? Because Google isn’t looking for less content, it’s looking for better content. Blog posts are where you answer real questions, target long-tail keywords, and build the kind of expertise and authority search engines (and AI search tools) are prioritizing. The businesses winning in SEO right now aren’t the ones posting less… They’re the ones building content ecosystems that start with a strong blog. At Wild Mango Marketing, blogging isn’t an afterthought, it’s a strategy. We create blogs that rank, build authority, and turn search traffic into real leads. 📩 Send us a DM if you want to learn how blogging could start working for your business. Let’s turn your website into a traffic magnet 🧲

You probably didn’t get into blogging thinking you’d have to be a short form video editor… 🙈 there is so much energy involved in scripting and editing and posting and finding the trends and the best things to post in short form video. I think people feel like they’re spending so much more time producing chore four videos than they are actually writing the blog content that they got into this industry to do. And if you’re anything like me, you feel exhausted forcing yourself into this unnatural form of communication, which is why I recommend search First Marketing and using search engines as the basis of your content plan and your blog funnel rather than social. You really don’t need video at all on Pinterest. It’s the beautiful part of that platform, and it can really be a good way to go back to your roots and feel more comfortable creating and then getting that content actually seen. It is a place where people can go find you and find the content that you’re creating without having to force yourself to be on video every single day. #pintereststrategist #pinteresttips #pinterestforbloggers

It is literally IMPOSSIBLE to fail at blogging - and here’s why ⬇️ I will never stop encouraging brands to blog because in my opinion, it is THE most risk-free, foolproof method of marketing. Let’s say you pour 3 hours into writing a blog post that never, ever, in its many years of life, EVER ranks on Google. Even after you troubleshoot, make changes, and revise the post - you never see it hit page 1 of Google, and it fails to bring in ANY traffic.😟 (Now that would be pretty hard to do - but it’s probably the “worst case scenario” you imagine when you think of all the reasons you *shouldn’t* spend time blogging, right?) Even if your blog post were to NEVER rank well or bring you leads from Google, you would still end up with: 👉🏼 New content that you can reuse + repurpose into more marketing across all of your social media platforms 👉🏼 New content to share with your booked clients to provide an above-and-beyond experience 👉🏼 Content that will save YOU time answering the same questions you get from clients over & over 👉🏼 New content to help you build immediate brand trust with potential clients who land on your website That’s why I truly, 100% believe that you CANNOT fail at blogging, no matter how hard you try (or don’t try). There are so many more reasons to blog than just to try and rank on Google that most brands don’t even realize! P.S. it’s literally free marketing. Low cost, low risk, high reward! #bloggingtips #organicmarketing #seotips #seomarketing #seoblogging
Not because Instagram is useless. I’m still here. I still love IG. But because search-based content works differently. A post on social media usually lives for about 24–48 hours. Then the algorithm moves on. But well-written blog post can show up in Google search for months or even years. It keeps getting discovered by people who are actively searching for answers. Which means one blog post can: ✨bring new readers to your site ✨introduce people to your business ✨build trust before they ever buy ✨keep working long after you hit publish Social media is great for connection. But blogging is where long-term traffic lives. And if you’re building a creative business, that kind of traffic can change your whole income. Save this if you needed the reminder that slow content often wins the long game. 🦊💻✨
In case you needed another sign to get your brand’s blog posts rolling…. Hi, it’s me! 👋🏽 I won’t bore you with the stats, BUT I THINK YOU SHOULD KNOW: Blogging isn’t dead!
