Corbridge 🌼🌿 the stunning historical village you need to add to your list this spring! Corbridge has been a place of crossing and settlement for nearly 2,000 years, dating back to its time as the Roman town of Coria a key supply base on the route to Hadrian’s Wall. Today, it’s one of Northumberland’s most characterful villages, with independent shops, cafés and pubs lining the streets, all set around the River Tyne and the historic crossing point. You can still explore the Roman site just outside the village, or simply wander through and take it all in at a slower pace and enjoy the views 🌿 I’ve tagged some of the fabulous businesses you need to check out on your visit to this reel. Definitely one to add to your list this spring 🌼🌿 #corbridge #northumberland #spring

The North East’s Best Bakeries PART 6! 🥐🙌 We’re unbelievably at part number six and this one is a local favourite 😋 @grantsbakery in Corbridge is an award-winning bakery handmaking more than 100 types of baked goods and sweet treats 🍰🥨 the new cafe area now means you can sit in and enjoy their patisserie and they’re open seven days a week! I got a biscoff and almond croissant which was amazing but they do so many different flavours, I can’t wait to try more 😋🥐 Who’s making a trip to Corbridge? 📍 @grantsbakery 👉 @a_sliceof_thetoon 👈 👉 @a_sliceof_thetoon 👈 #bakery #localbakery #croissantlover #croissants #pastrylover #pastrymaker #morningpastry #newcastlebakery #freshbread #pastryshop #newcastleupontyne #newcastleupontyneuk #northumberland #corbridge #newcastlefoodies #newcastlefood #northeastfoodie #northeastfood #nefoodie #nefoodbloggers #ukfoodie #ukfoodblogger #britishbakery #bestbakery #newcastlefoodblogger

Corbridge isn’t just a village — it’s a lifestyle. Roman roots, stone cottages, boutique cafés, and the River Tyne on your doorstep. 20 minutes from Newcastle… but a world away in pace. Independent shops. Outstanding schools. Proper community feel. It’s quiet wealth, done well. No wonder it’s become one of Northumberland’s most coveted postcodes. #corbridge #northumberlandliving #villagelife #propertylife #themaisongent

Corbridge looking beautiful all wrapped up in autumn colours. Just at the end of this path is “probably” the best cake shop in the North East. @grantsbakery has recently been extended which means there are even more cakes, savoury bakes and a place to sit and enjoy them. Perfect. Hands up if you’ve tried Grant’s!
