One of the things we worried about most when we moved to Cornwall wasn’t leaving our old house or starting over somewhere new. It was the people we were leaving behind. Did anyone catch the boys sharing their ice creams? 🥹 One of the unexpected joys of starting again in Cornwall is realising how many places we can now make part of the boys’ everyday life. We loved taking them and their friends to the Eden Project, especially knowing we can come back throughout the year and use it as inspiration for home education too. Slowly, all these places, people and experiences are becoming part of their childhood. Nipped down to Porthtowan Beach Shop yesterday to see my lovely bestie Jemma 🩵 I grabbed my wrap and coffee from @nalucoffeehouse in Newquay and headed down to spend the morning with her at the shop — and, of course, buy myself another Porthtowan Beach Shop tote! 😂 I’ve had a few over the years, but somehow everybody seems to have walked off with them! I absolutely love Jemma’s shop and ended up staying for a few hours before heading back to Newquay to hang out with my lovely friend Hannah. Quite a busy day when you consider I’m up at 5am every morning! 😂 But I swear I have so much more energy living by the sea. The fresh air, no light pollution, no air pollution, no noise pollution… I just feel more grounded here. 🌊 That’s one of the biggest reasons I love living in Cornwall. Being by the sea and in nature is just so good for my mental health and makes me feel alive. 🩵🌊 #PorthtowanBeachShop #Newquay #CornwallLife #MentalHealth #Grounded

I have never seen the sluices open on the lock gates , I assume this is a precaution with all the rain to help curve any flooding , and also to help clear and sand build up in the seaward side of the lock. #bude #lurefishing #cornwall #cornwalluk #cornwalllife

Some pretty wild conditions out there! 😬 When you look at the surf forecast and see 20-25ft you know it’s going to be a crazy one to watch! 🌊 Super strong wind and swell smashing the coast is special to watch and also a reminder that we are getting closer to winter ❄️ Hopefully we have some weather windows in there to get some diving in! 🤿 #fyp #cornwall #cornwallcoast #nature #cornwalllife
