A love letter to green, the English countryside and the feeling of a beautifully layered country home. With its honey-coloured cottages and charming medieval streets, it feels like stepping back in time. 📍 Located in Wiltshire, in the Cotswolds, England. 🚆 How to get there from London: By train: Take the train from Paddington to Chippenham (around 1h 10min), then catch a bus to Castle Combe. 🚌 That’s how we got there! Allow extra time for the bus connection, as services are limited. 4 Bedrooms | 3 Bathrooms | 1,345 sq ft 📍Cwm Teigl, Ffestiniog, Gwynedd, Wales If you want to feel like you are living in Lord of The Rings, I challenge you to find me a better house for sale right now than this one. There is genuinely something about these welsh cottages which just feel like they are from Middle Earth. �The mountains, the fact that the cottage is about 500 years old, the dry stone walls... it all feels like it is from another era. And the whole dragon mythology with Wales too. Wales must have played a large part in J.R.R. Tolkien's inspiration for the world of Lord of The Rings. By the way, the drive to this house along the north Wales coast and then into Snowdonia is utterly utterly incredible. You've got beautiful coast on one side of your car and then immediately mountains on the other side. If you've never been, you must visit. And if you're into hiking, it doesn't get much better than this part of the world. #lordoftherings
