PAIS would like to express our sincere thanks to the School of Architecture and Design (SoA+D) at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (@love.kmutt) for warmly hosting our students during their recent campus visit. Our students had a wonderful opportunity to experience the creative learning environment at SoA+D through an engaging hands-on workshop. Guided by faculty members and senior students, they explored new ideas, strengthened their critical thinking, and gained valuable insights into the world of architecture and design. We are truly grateful for this enriching experience that helped broaden our students’ knowledge and inspire their future academic journeys. The World Is Our Classroom. 🌆📐 For our first-year architecture students, the study of “Man and Nature” begins not just in the studio, but in the vibrant streets of our own city. Through guided city walks across Hong Kong’s diverse districts, students learn to read the urban landscape—observing how people inhabit space, how light shapes a street, and how nature persists within our concrete jungle. We believe architecture is fundamentally about the relationship between people and their environment. These real-world explorations are vital, equipping our students with the analytical eyes and design thinking needed to shape the future of practice. #ArchitectureEducation #TheWorldIsTheClassroom #CityWalks #UrbanDesign #ManAndNature HKDI HKDIArch ArchitecturalObservation FutureArchitects HongKongArchitecture DesignLearning
Stepping out of your comfort zone is scary. But that’s exactly where growth begins. ✈️🌏 Take a look at our students experiencing One Semester Student Exchange Program at Van Lang University, Vietnam. They are Muhammad Zaki Wicaksono and Muhammad Sanjaya Santosa, Architecture IP Students Batch 2024. In just their first month, they’ve adapted to a new studio culture, exchanged ideas with international peers, explored Ho Chi Minh City through architectural lenses, and learned what it truly means to live and study independently in a different country. New environment, new challenges, new perspectives — all shaping them into globally minded future architects. At Architecture IP, international exchange is not simply an additional program — it is part of our broader vision to cultivate a globally oriented academic experience. Through structured mobility programs, students are encouraged to step beyond the classroom, immerse themselves in different cultures, engage with international peers, gain wider range of global networking, and collaborate with overseas institutions. These opportunities strengthen their global perspective while nurturing an academic environment that is internationally connected and future-ready. 🌍 And this is only the beginning. 👀 Stay tuned for more updates and behind-the-scenes moments from their journey in Vietnam! Architectural stampede level attendance. Almost missed it. Yet somehow, space expanded just enough for me to slip in. Then stood there, listening to Kazuyo Sejima reshape space with words. . . . This is actually one of those moments I’ll remember later like, “yeah I saw her speak live at CEPT” Surreal😭🤌🏻 #campuslife #pritzkerarchitectureprize #ceptuniversity #architectlife

What does a landscape architect ACTUALLY do? Last week, secondary school students with the PGBC Environmental Career Student Guidance (ECSG) Programme 2026 came to find out. And we didn't just tell them—we let them try. They started with a discussion. Then they drew. They dreamed. What happened next? Brilliant ideas. Passionate debates. Kids sketching, erasing, arguing about where the benches should go. They got a tiny taste of what it's like to be us. And honestly? They crushed it. Thanks for spending the afternoon with us, our future selves. 💚 #EAEngage #泛境共創 #Earthasia45 #FutureDesigners #CommunityDesign #HongKongStudents
𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐝-𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐦 𝟐 Studio FRAGMENTS relate to a condition of incompleteness. As a conceptual lens, this cluster explores agency through reconstruction, reappropriation, reorganisation, and reinterpretation. Fragments engage with architectural and urban conditions by adding value to the traces, memories, and existing conditions that persist on site, embracing their historical and socio-spatial narratives. Studio EDGES as a conceptual lens opens new possibilities for redefining how people engage with, transform, and adapt the built environment across diverse socio-spatial conditions. It investigates spatial agency at the margins—physical, social, and symbolic—by focusing on thresholds where different systems, communities, and forces come into contact, conflict, or exchange. A round of applause to the students for their hard works and a huge thank you to our external reviewers.
