Over the last month more so I’ve found myself in little ruts, mourning stages of her (and I) before they’re even over. As we head into the colder months. This Summer and into Fall were so fun. I have loved these stages and the adventures we have been on with her in my pack. The memories we made together. The giggles. Me hauling her around at camp because she couldn’t walk yet, and now she’s running! She’s saying so many words. It all happens so quick. I just keep thinking about how different next Summer will be, when she’s almost two years old. I know they’re all special in their own way, but motherhood sure takes ya on an emotional rollercoaster.

The small Wealden town where England’s tallest smock windmill still turns.
This is Cranbrook, my nearest town, home to Union Mill. Built in 1814 by local millwright James Humphrey for Mary Dobell, it was first worked by her son Henry. After Mrs Dobell was declared bankrupt in 1819, the mill passed to a union of her creditors — and so Union Mill found its name.
A striking landmark, rising above the town and visible from almost every angle.

Six years after Kimberley resident Kevin Murray was diagnosed with lymphoma, cancer attacked his bone marrow. The cancer worsened, and Kevin was admitted to East Kootenay Regional Hospital for treatment, including blood transfusions and chemotherapy.
Kevin is now back doing what he loves - riding his bike. 🚲 He gives thanks to the staff at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in #Cranbrook, who helped him tremendously during his treatment. 💗
