give us ideas :)
You’re not behind, you’re just on a career path no one gave you a map for. 💋 We’ve been meeting so many creatives in NYC who are piecing together careers from freelance work, side hustles, major pivots, small experiments…and we’ve realized that almost everyone is doing it this way now. We’re hosting a conversation in Brooklyn about nonlinear career paths next week. Honest stories, creative career insights, and a room full of people who are also figuring things out in real time. 🫶🏼 If this sounds like you, we’d love for you to join us! #brooklynevents #nycevents #nycthingstodo #nyccreatives #brooklyncreatives

Creativity can be a business. Just ask Indi, founder of Indipendence 🎨⁣ ⁣ Through the Summer Company Program, Indi turned her passion for art into something bigger, a platform to share her ideas, emotions, and creativity with others.⁣ ⁣ Along the way, she built real entrepreneurial skills: marketing her work, pitching ideas, engaging customers, managing sales, and understanding the financial side of running a business. She also connected with a community of fellow young entrepreneurs, learning from others building their own ventures.⁣ ⁣ That’s what the Summer Company Program is all about: helping students turn ideas into real businesses.⁣ ⁣ Ontario students (ages 15–29) can receive:⁣ • Free business training⁣ • Mentorship⁣ • Up to $3,000 in grant funding⁣ ⁣ Know someone with a business idea? Applications close May 1, 2026 👇⁣ ideamississauga.ca/summercompany
