The rematch between Newport and Headington in the Prince Philip Challenge at Henley today resulted in same outcome as last year, with Headington moving on to the weekend. This is also the end of a spectacular season for the Newport crew where they won Crew Classic in San Diego (second year in a row), took the win at Southwest Regionals at Lake Natoma for the first time in the history of the program, and finally finished second at US Nationals in Sarasota, FL. Friday was also the final race for Saugatuck, the second US boat in the Prince Philip Challenge. In that race local Shiplake moves on to the Semi tomorrow. On the college side, Harvard with NAC alum @andrewbuda_ moves into the semi's with a win over UVA. Of interest, the races also saw the two sisters, Celia and Anya Cheng, competing as coxwains on opposite sides. #rowing
