A stripped back version of my new single, Smooth (An Ode to L. Cohen). Song link in bio. Or at least half of it… but I’ve thrown in some extra oooooooohs for you as a gesture of goodwill. For those of you who couldn’t tell what I’m singing, then you also now have the lyrics! #singersongwriter #sheffieldmusic #sheffieldartist #indiefolk #alternativefolk

A new tune 🚜 #folkmusic #folkmusician

I even recorded the guitar solo through a condenser mic. Very keen for big chunk of this album to be recorded using acoustic instruments, I want you to hear the room and all the buzzing and breathing like you’re in there with me ❤️❤️❤️ #folkmusic #indierock #alternative

This guitar riff has had me in a chokehold for MONTHS so I’ve powered through the illness to cover it for you lot x #music #indiefolk #independentmusic #folkmusic #cover

With my first EP, ‘All Kinds of Beasts’ done and dusted and ready for release in May, it’s time to start putting EP 2 together. The songs are already written (mostly), so time to start demoing them, layering, experimenting and steering them towards completion! This is a little snippet of ‘Not Everybody Wants to be Freed’. The song is currently just acoustic and vocal, but I hear a big arrangement in there, potentially the EP closer! #altfolk #indiefolk #acousticfolk
