What if a common backyard weed held a clue scientists couldn’t ignore? In a 2016 laboratory study, researchers tested an aqueous dandelion root extract on colorectal cancer cells. After 48 hours, the extract triggered programmed cell death in more than 95% of the cancer cells studied. The team also reported slower tumor growth in mouse xenograft models, suggesting the extract deserved further investigation. But here’s the crucial part: these were preclinical findings—not proof that eating dandelion root, drinking tea, or taking supplements can treat cancer in people. Human clinical trials are needed to determine whether it is safe, effective, and useful alongside established treatments. The science is intriguing, but the takeaway isn’t “dandelion cures cancer.” It’s something more powerful: even an ordinary plant can inspire extraordinary research—and promising discoveries still need rigorous human evidence. #instagood #dailyfindings #dailyfacts #dailymemes
You heard it right! Dandelion kills 95% of Cancer cells in a recent study! 🌼 What saddens me is that this study from the University of Windsor was undertaken in 2016. Why hadn’t there been endless studies since? Why wasn’t it front page news? Because nobody can make money if it’s the Dandelion that can cure us. 🌼 Who can patent your back yard “weed.” Fortunately the whispers of our ancient Herbal Healings are growing back into roars. I infuse Dandelion Root into my Sunscreen (in a bid to undo previous damage in your skin) and into the Dandelion & Burdock Healing Balm. Both available in store now. ☀️🌼☀️ #dandelion #cancer #herbalhealing #organicskincare #naturalhealing
Our teas aren’t like other teas. Why? Because we leverage the unique properties of each herb to complement one another in our blends. 🍵 While most detox teas strip the body, ours is designed to replenish it. The Paidu blend acts as a blood cleanser—nourishing and enriching the blood, prompting the release and detoxification of elements the body holds onto due to perceived deficiencies. So, what makes our blend so potent? Schisandra berries to build blood. Dandelion root to cleanse the blood. Lemongrass to invigorate the blood. Orange peel to energize the blood.🌞 And that’s just the beginning. Our Paidu Detox blend features an array of other wonderful herbs and ingredients that contribute to its overall efficacy. — Holistic, Organic, Organic Tea, Lemongrass, Wellness Experience, Wellness Center, Holistic Approach, Alternative Medicine, Los Angeles Spa, Natural Remedies, Bodywork, Energy Work #Organic #Holistic #Lemongrass #Wellness #Healing #HolisticHealing #TraditionalChineseMedicine

🌼🧬 Did you know? A common backyard weed has attracted the attention of cancer researchers around the world... Dandelion root has been used in traditional herbal medicine for centuries, primarily to support digestion and liver health. But in recent years, scientists have begun investigating it for a completely different reason. Laboratory studies have found that dandelion root extract can trigger programmed cell death (apoptosis) in certain cancer cell lines, while having far less effect on healthy cells under the same experimental conditions. This unusual finding has sparked interest in understanding which compounds in dandelion root may be responsible for these effects. Researchers believe dandelion root contains a variety of biologically active compounds, including polyphenols, sesquiterpene lactones, flavonoids, and antioxidants, which may influence cellular signaling pathways involved in growth and survival. It's important to understand that these findings come primarily from cell culture and laboratory studies, where isolated cells are exposed directly to concentrated extracts. Results observed in a laboratory dish do not necessarily mean the same effects will occur in the human body, which is far more complex. However, the research has been intriguing enough that scientists continue to explore dandelion root's potential role in future therapeutic applications. Beyond the laboratory, dandelion root remains valued for its traditional uses and its rich content of antioxidants and plant compounds that support overall wellness. 💡 Interesting fact: Every part of the dandelion plant is edible—from the roots and leaves to the flowers—making it one of the most nutrient-dense wild plants commonly found around the world. #DandelionRoot #ScienceFacts #NaturalHealth #PlantCompounds Research DidYouKnow
Have you ever stopped and wondered why so many people are exhausted, bloated, inflamed, struggling with stubborn weight gain, headaches, skin issues, and digestive problems? What if those symptoms aren’t random? What if they’re your body’s way of asking for support? For generations, herbs like burdock root, nettle leaf, dandelion root, milk thistle, parsley, tulsi, and ginger have been used to support the organs responsible for digestion, elimination, circulation, and detoxification. Your liver processes everything you eat, drink, breathe, and absorb. Your kidneys help filter waste. Your digestive system determines what nutrients you absorb and what toxins leave the body. When these systems become overwhelmed, your body often lets you know. That’s why so many people are turning back to herbs. They’re looking for a better foundation. Which herb on this list have you tried before?
