Don’t leave DATALAND without seeing this room. #DATALAND_Partner The infinity room was easily one of my favorite experiences. Endless reflections, dynamic lighting, and immersive sound come together to create a space that feels almost unreal. No camera can fully capture what it’s like you have to step inside and see it for yourself. 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐋𝐀 𝐛𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭! 🚀 Things to know before you go: • Reserve your tickets online in advance, especially for weekends. • Plan about 1.5–2 hours to experience all of the installations. • Wear comfortable shoes since you’ll be walking through multiple exhibit spaces. •Self-parking is available at The Grand LA Garage (121 S. Olive St., Los Angeles). With validation, parking is currently $4.50 for the first 3 hours and $5 for each additional hour (up to the daily maximum). Just stepped into a digital dreamworld @datalandmuseum 🤖✨ Checked out Dataland during its opening weekend! Part art installation, part AI playground, this is a new experience that explores the intersection of tech, creativity, and imagination. I’ve been to @refikanadol past exhibits so I knew this one was going to be epic 🙌🏼 If you’re looking for something different to do, this is one of the most immersive experiences I’ve been to this year. We worked so hard to share with you one of the most beautiful ways we know to experience art today — and you welcomed it with open hearts. Since we opened our doors, we’ve watched you move slowly through the living galleries, pause in The Sanctuary, and wear a scent that existed nowhere in the world until your own emotions made it. DATALAND was built on a simple, stubborn dream: that art could be not only shown to you, but grown — from the living world, and from you. It rests on the Large Nature Model, an AI we trained on nature itself ethically, together with the Smithsonian, the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, and our dear friends in the Yawanawá community. We think this makes the experience a little different — not louder, not bigger, but more alive, and more yours. This is only the beginning, and there is no city we’d rather begin it in. @datalandmuseum is coming to Downtown LA on June 20 🌿 DATALAND is the world’s first digital ecosystem where human imagination meets the creative potential of computing. BILT members got an early preview of this new immersive art experience before it opens to the public. Spanning five multi-sensory galleries, Dataland explores a new kind of museum where data becomes pigment and art evolves in real time through interaction and the invisible systems that shape our world. From scent-emitting headphones to a rainforest-inspired chocolate tasting, every detail felt thoughtfully designed to engage all five senses. One thing I love about living in LA is that sometimes you stumble across experiences that make you feel like you’ve traveled somewhere entirely different: without ever leaving the city. One of the most incredible experiences I’ve ever had. Dataland literally knocked me off my feet… LOL. 🤯🌸✨ If you’re sensitive to motion or intense lighting changes, this one might not be for you. But if you love flowers, technology, art, and completely out-of-this-world experiences, this is a GAME CHANGER. As someone who has spent my life creating with flowers, seeing nature reimagined through AI on this scale was extraordinary. Do we really think that a simulation of nature gives us the same effect? Do we really think that AI has the capability to create art with a unique perspective and offer us the opportunity to experience something new? We know that technology has its place, and we know it can help create unique experiences, but we are not convinced it can give us the experience of being in nature. Want to experience nature? Go outside. In Los Angeles there are so many opportunities to experience a variety of scenic landscapes — get out there and touch some grass.
