Drunken Lullabies by Flogging Molly 🍀 with SteelPan performed by Aaron Abrahamson Cote 🍻 #FloggingMolly #Celtic #Punk #Ireland #StPatricksDay @floggingmolly

For St. Patrick’s Day, today’s spin is “Drunken Lullabies” by Flogging Molly. At first listen, it feels like a rowdy Irish pub anthem. The kind of song you’d hear with a crowd singing along, pints raised high. But underneath all that energy is something deeper. The song reflects on Ireland’s long history of struggle, resilience, and pride. For generations, music became a way to carry those stories forward. Songs sung in pubs and gatherings that held history, pain, resistance, and identity all at once. That’s part of what makes Irish music so powerful. Even the loudest songs can hold the deepest stories. St. Patrick’s Day has always felt special in our family. We’ve always had a deep connection to Ireland, and when my sister married my bro-in-law and had the cutest little Shamricans, well, we were officially all in with the luck of the Irish. ☘️ So today we celebrate the music, the stories, the resilience, and a little bit of that Irish magia too. Happy St. Patrick’s Day! ☘️ 🎧 @floggingmolly

#stpatricksday #stpaddysday #diadesanpatricio #floggingmolly #drunkenlullabies

Flogging Molly was the first "real" concert I went to, they really do deserve to be played year round. Gotta get back to doing that.
